It is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) and attached to the Government General Hospital, Khammam, which provides a good patient load for MBBS students. Government Medical College, Khammam is one of the strongest new government medical colleges in Telangana. Because of its good district hospital, strong patient flow, affordable fees, and improving infrastructure, I would rank it alongside GMC Ramagundam, GMC Siddipet, and GMC Mahabubnagar. If you get a government seat at GMC Khammam, it is generally a better option than almost all private medical colleges in Telangana due to the combination of low fees and excellent clinical exposure.
